About the Role
Due to the expansion plans for our St. Martin’s Home, we are excited to announce an added position of Unit Leader for the splitting of the Nursing Home into two sections. The Unit Leader plays a vital role in supporting our growth and success and is an integral part of the Nursing Home, working closely with the leadership team to ensure seamless collaboration and drive overall progress for the care team.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) within our
Nursing Home consists of the Psychogeriatric Care and Somatic Care sections.
The Unit Leader’s tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensures a qualitatively and quantitatively sound input of workers and stimulates an optimal working climate;
Trains new workers and gives work instructions;
Supervises the care to be given and ensures that this is done according to protocol;
Performs nursing activities;
Supports and supervises clients and is contact person with client's family;
Manages the supply of appliances, medicines, and materials of the unit;
Develops protocols and keeps these up to date.
This position is open to full-time and part-time candidates, offering flexibility to suit individual needs.
This position is based on a scale FWG 40. Dutch residents or permanent residence permit holders only.

Requirements
The job requires:
MBO level 4 Nursing;
Knowledge and practical solutions for in a leadership role;
Able to work independently;
Good verbal and written command of the English language. Dutch, Spanish, or French are a plus;
Ability to create team cohesion and a positive work atmosphere.
