

About the Role
This vacancy is for a full time position (40 hours per week) within our District Nursing team. The District Nursing Care provides short-term or long-term care to clients who are getting older, are chronically ill, terminally ill, recovering from surgery, or are disabled. The District Nursing Care also provides Mother and Child care for newborns.
The Unit Leader’s tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading and supervising the care team;
Coordinating work schedules and determining the most efficient use of the care team;
Ensuring and providing high quality care for our clients;
Advising and educating the care team on care situations;
Task management, with 20% focused on leadership and 80% on providing care to District Nursing clients.
Requirements
The job requires:
MBO level 4 Nursing;
Experience in a leadership role;
Relevant work experience in District Nursing;
Ability to work all shifts independently;
Good verbal and written command of the English language. Dutch, Spanish or French are a plus;
Ability to foster team cohesion and a positive work atmosphere.
This position is based on a scale FWG 40. Dutch residents or permanent residence permit holders only. Job description is available on request.
