About the Role

This vacancy is for a fulltime position (40 hours) within our Paramedical Team. The Paramedical Team examines, treats and guides our clients of different ages with the aim to prevent, reduce and compensate or eliminate diseases and disorders of the musculoskeletal system and neurological disorders.

Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients! As a valued team member, your key responsibilities will include:
Examining & diagnosing: Evaluates clients, diagnoses issues, consults specialists, advises referrals, develops treatment plans, and coordinates with stakeholders.
Treatment: Provides OT treatments, conducts home visits, prepares reports, and assists with ergonomic tool applications. Develops or adapts ergonomic tools, guides clients, evaluates progress, updates treatment plans, and monitors client well-being.
Promoting quality: Participates in team discussions, tracks OT trends and policies, provides training, and advises on OT tools and quality improvements.
Autonomous Practice: Take charge of your own caseload, contributing to the success of the overall treatment plan.


This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, offering flexibility to suit individual needs.

This position is based on a scale FWG 55. Dutch residents or permanent residence permit holders only. Job description is available on request.

Requirements

The job requires:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy;

  • Knowledge of the target group of clients: intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, physical and mental developmental delay;

  • Affinity with senso-motoric integration and holistic approach;

  • Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, able to give advice about approach and treatment towards other staff and members of the paramedical team;

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of different client groups and ergotherapy fields (such as clients in rehabilitation, clients with mental disabilities, elderly and psycho-geriatric clients). General knowledge of other paramedical fields is required;

  • Drivers license B;

  • Good command of the English language is required; knowledge of Spanish, Dutch or French is a plus.
