What is Maternity Care?
Maternity Care is care provided after the birth of your baby. It entails care for both the newborn baby and the mother. The nurse checks several vitals of the baby and mother. But also advises about general hygiene, clothing, feeding, and sleeping.
It is a service package of a total of ten 45 minute visits over a period of three to eight weeks. It's covered via an Island Government doctor card (OZR fund) or a cost of NAFL. 750,00.
